2014 Property Tax Appeal
Dear Property Owner:
On August 22nd, 2014, the Miami-Dade County property Appraiser mailed your Notice of Proposed Property Taxes (TRIM), which has important information regarding your property taxes. We would like to let you know that you can view your TRIM notice ONLINE. You have to enter your property address and press enter.
The Assessed Value is in the bottom of the FORM in the red square. The property tax was calculated based on the Assessed Value.
If your Unit number in the Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in: 5, 7, 10, 12 or 15 and Assessed Value is more the $240,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.
If your Unit number in Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in: 4, 8, 9, 13 and 14 and the Assessed Value is more than $315,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.
If your Unit number in Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in: 1, 2, 6, and 11 and the Assessed Value is more than $187,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.
The due date for appeal is 11:59 pm September 16, 2014. In order to appeal please click HERE. After you comply with the appeal form and pay the fee, you will receive the note from Miami-Dade Value Adjustment Board with date of your hearing. If you can’t attend the hearing, you may appoint a representative, who will attend the hearing on your behalf.
