Building painting

Dear Residents:

Please be advised that we have good news for you – the Board of Directors has signed a contract with Capital Painting to pressure clean, waterproof and paint the exterior of our building. The project will commence in about two weeks and expected to be completed within three to three and half months. We require your cooperation in order for it to run as smoothly as possible.

The process will be done in stages, beginning with lines 5, 6, 7, and 8, and will continue toward the South East direction. We will advise you in advance with at least a 7-day notice, of any further developments and direction of the project. After you receive the notice, we ask that you please:

a. Refrain from entering areas that are taped off for your own safety and the safety of your children and pets
b. Remove all items from your balcony
c. Keep your sliding glass doors and windows locked
d. Painters will not have to enter your unit; they will have access to your balcony from swing stages.
e. Do not enter into any discussions or negotiations with the painters.

If you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact the management office.

The cost of the project is about $180,000. As a result of proper budgeting by the Board of Directors and Management, careful spending and negotiating old contracts saved the Association a substantial sum. We are pleased to inform you that there will be NO SPECIAL ASSESSMENT to pay for this project.

We are very excited about this project and look forward to its completion within the time projected.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors and Management
