2018 Property Tax Appeal<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Dear Member of the Association,<\/p>\n

In order to continue with our tradition, I would like to remind you that September 18, 2018 is the deadline to exercise your right to appeal the 2018\u00a0 Property Tax. Property taxes are calculated based on your assessed value, therefore, \u00a0if the assessed value on your Notice of Proposed Property, \u00a0which you recently received \u00a0from the\u00a0 Property Appraisal, is inaccurate, you may be overpaying. Please contact our management office to determine the correct Assessed value for your unit.

Como es de costumbre en el mes de Setiembre de cada ano, la fecha limite para ejercer su derecho de apelar el pago del Impuesto a la Propiedad, es el 18 de Setiembre de 2018. El Impuesto a la propiedad se calcula en funcion al valor del Mercado de la propiedad; por lo tanto si el valor que recibio recientemente en su boleta de pago del Impuesto a la Propiedad del Departamento de Evaluacion de Propiedades esta en exceso, es possible que la cantidad a pagar sea incorrecta. Dear Property Owner:<\/p>\n

On August 21nd<\/sup>, 2016, the Miami-Dade County property Appraiser mailed your Notice\u00a0of Proposed Property Tax<\/a> (TRIM), which has important information regarding your property taxes. We would like to let you know that you can view your TRIM notice online<\/a>. You have to enter your property address and press enter.
\nThe property tax which each owner is obligated to pay, is calculated based on the Assessed Value. The Assessed Value is in the bottom of the form<\/a> in the red square.<\/p>\n

If your Unit number in the Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in:\u00a0 5, 7, 10, 12 or 15 and Assessed Value is more the $255,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.
\nIf your Unit number in Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in:\u00a0 4, 8, 9, 13 and 14 and the Assessed Value is more than $339,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.
\nIf your Unit number in Turnberry on the Green Condominium ends in: 1, 2, 6, and 11 and the Assessed Value is more than $200,000 you may appeal the Proposed Property Tax.<\/p>\n

The due date for appeal is 11:59 \u00a0pm September 18, 2015. In order to appeal please click here<\/a>. After you comply with the appeal form and pay the fee, you will receive note from Miami-Dade Value Adjustment Board with date of your hearing. If you can\u2019t attend the hearing, you may appoint a representative, who will attend the hearing on your behalf.<\/p>\n
