Dear Residents,<\/p>\n

We urge you to begin your preparation for this Hurricane, which is considered to be one of the strongest ones we\u2019ve had, so far. The expected wind speeds are close to 200 mph which is equivalent to 322 km\/h. Extreme water floods are expected.<\/p>\n

If you have decided to stay in the building, we encourage you to take the following measures for your safety:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Remove all items from your balconies, as they could become projectiles during a high wind<\/li>\n
  2. Stock up on prescription medicine, food and (1 Gallon of water per person, per day.) You should have at least three days of supply on hand.<\/li>\n
  3. Stay away from your<\/li>\n
  4. Do not run generators in your apartment, this is extremely dangerous and may cause carbon dioxide<\/li>\n
  5. Fill your bathtubs with water, which you can use to flush your toilet in case there are water<\/li>\n
  6. The building\u2019s generator will keep the power in the common areas only: 1stand 2nd floor, hallways and at least one elevator will<\/li>\n
  7. Valet services will be provided until 3 m. on Saturday September 9th, 2017. If you have your keys with the valet, please pick them up before the end of the day on Friday. All staff will resume their duties as soon as it is safe to return to the property.<\/li>\n
  8. Security will be on duty as usual, unless life threatening conditions<\/li>\n
  9. Continually monitor the approach of the hurricane and pay attention to evacuation If mandatory evacuation is issued, we recommend you to leave the property. (According to the Miami-Dade County Storm Surge map we are in a zone D.)<\/li>\n
  10. Be advised that Police Officer and Emergency Service personnel will not be able to respond or assist during the<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Post hurricane notice<\/h4>\n

    Dear Residents,<\/p>\n

    This notice is to inform you of the conditions of our Condominium after the impact of Hurricane Irma.
    \nThe good news is that not even one window was shattered and the general structure does not have any damage. We lost electricity from the city for approximately 20 hours during the most aggressive winds but our generator backed up and supplied the power in the common areas. There were no floods in the parking garage thanks to our pump system.
    \nThe bad news is that we still do not have internet, telephone and cable services from Atlantic Broadband and the company is not able to provide any specific date of when the services will be restored. We are facing substantial damage to our landscaping. The air conditioning equipment on the roof of the building was damaged and as a result there is limited cool air in the common areas. Additionally, our boiler room and entry system were damaged.<\/p>\n

    All of our facilities were able to run without interruptions thanks to the diligent work of our Engineering Department. We appreciate your patience in this difficult recovery time.<\/p>\n
